Overview

The Air Alert feature in Meritto Mobile App provides a call pop-up experience to you whenever you receive an incoming call or make an outbound call. This feature works even if In-App Calling or Telephony Calling is not enabled for an entity.

Core Functionalities

How Does Air Alert Work?

Whenever you receive an incoming call or make an outbound call, you get an Air Alert (push notification) on your device displaying the lead information along with 2 action buttons.
Available Action Buttons:
The notification will only go away if you take action on it. Air Alerts display different action buttons depending on the lead status:

  • For New Leads (Unknown Numbers):
    • Add Lead: Add the lead manually.
    • Dismiss: Close the notification.
  • For Existing Leads (Assigned to that particular Counsellor):
    • View Profile: Open the lead’s profile in the app.
    • Dismiss: Close the notification.
  • For Existing Leads (Not Assigned to the User):
    • Add Notes: Add relevant notes about the call.
    • Dismiss: Close the notification.

Benefits of Air Alerts

  • No Special Device Permission Required: Air Alerts work without enabling “Display Popup Over Other Apps”.

  • Quick Action on Leads: Perform lead actions (add, view, or update) without opening the app.

  • Seamless Lead Engagement: Reduces response time by allowing quick follow-ups through instant actions.

  • Auto Dismissal Control: Air Alerts remain visible until an action is taken, ensuring the notification isn’t missed.

How to Enable Air Alerts?

1. Log in to Meritto Mobile App

  • Launch the Meritto Mobile App.

  • Enter your credentials to log in.

2. Access Settings

  • Tap on the Navigation Menu.

  • Select Settings.

3. Enable Air Alerts

  • Find and enable the “Show Air Alerts for Calling” option.

  • Grant the necessary permissions if prompted.

Important Considerations

  • Air Alerts vs. Popups: If both Popup and Air Alerts are enabled, only one of them will be active at a time.

  • Persistent Notifications: Air Alerts remain until an action is performed, preventing accidental dismissals.
