Overview

App Shortcuts in the Meritto mobile app allow users to quickly access specific tasks by long-pressing the app icon. This feature enhances efficiency by enabling users to create and manage shortcuts for frequently used actions within the app.

Step-by-Step Guide for App Shortcuts

1. Access App Shortcuts Settings

  • Open the Meritto Android App.

  • Navigate to Settings > Other Settings > App Shortcuts.

2. View Existing Shortcuts

  • You can view previously created shortcuts if any exist.

  • By default, App Shortcuts are turned off for all users.

3. Enable and Create Shortcuts

  • Toggle the App Shortcuts switch to enable the feature.

  • A panel will open, allowing you to create shortcuts.

  • You can create a maximum of 3 shortcuts.

4. Add New Shortcuts

  • The First Action dropdown will appear initially.

  • Tap Add New Shortcut to create an additional shortcut row.

  • You can add up to 3 actions in total.

5. Delete Unwanted Shortcuts

  • A Delete (trash) icon appears next to the last action.

  • Tap the delete icon to remove a shortcut if added by mistake.

6. Save and Apply Shortcuts

  • Once configured, tap Save to store your shortcuts.

  • Shortcuts are saved locally for the logged-in user.

  • Note: Uninstalling the app will delete saved shortcuts.

7. Use App Shortcuts

  • Long press the Meritto App icon on your home screen.

  • The created shortcuts will appear for quick access.

Points to Keep in Mind

  • If no shortcuts are created, the toggle remains off.

  • The feature is currently available only on Android devices.
