Overview

The Application Manager on the Meritto mobile app gives your counselors the flexibility to manage and act on applications directly from their mobile devices. Whether they are on the move or away from their desks, your team can search, filter, and take action on applications without needing to access the web platform. This article covers the core functionalities available in the Application Manager on the mobile app and how they support your team's day-to-day admissions operations.

Plan & Permissions

The Application Manager on the mobile app is governed by the same permissions as the web platform. Your user role must have the relevant Application Manager permissions assigned to access and perform actions within this module. The actions visible to a user will depend on the specific permissions enabled for their role.

Core Functionalities



You can search for applications directly from the Application Manager listing page using the following parameters: Name, Email, Mobile, Application Number, Transaction ID, Voucher Code, and Coupon Code. This allows your team to quickly locate a specific applicant without manually scrolling through the listing.

Call Syncing

The Call Syncing feature allows your team to manage Calls made via the mobile device that have not been synced to a lead record. While syncing happens automatically, your team can manually sync a call if needed or select the correct lead in cases where multiple leads share the same number.
Notes
Note that App Telephony calling is not available on iOS devices.

Filters, Sorting & Saved Views

You can filter applications using Advanced Filters, where conditions can be defined to refine the listing based on multiple criteria. Applications can also be sorted by Form Start Date and Payment End Date in ascending or descending order.
Saved Views created on the web platform or shared with you are available on the mobile app as well, allowing you to apply pre-configured filter combinations instantly. Note that the option to share a Saved View is not available on the mobile app. Although you can create and use Saved Views on the Mobile platform as well.

Applicant Profile

Tapping on an applicant from the listing opens their full Applicant Profile. The profile is organized into the following sections:
  1. Application Tab: View application details and payment details for the applicant.
  2. Lead Details: View the lead information associated with the applicant.
  3. Timeline: View the complete activity history of the applicant.
  4. Events: View events assigned to the applicant and perform event-related actions.
  5. Notes: View all notes that have been added for the lead.
  6. Communication Logs: View logs of all communication activities including SMS, Email, and WhatsApp.
  7. Tickets: View queries raised by the applicant. This section is only available on Android devices.
  8. Call Logs: View logs of all calling activities performed for the applicant.

Quick Actions on the Listing Page

From the Application Manager listing page, your team can perform the following quick actions directly against an application without opening the full profile:
  1. Payment History
  2. Change Application Stage
  3. Re-Assign Application
  4. Add Event
  5. Send Email
  6. Send SMS
  7. Send WhatsApp
  8. View Queries

From within the Applicant Profile, your team can perform the following actions:

Bulk Actions

You can select multiple applications from the listing page and perform the following bulk actions simultaneously:
  1. Change Application Stage
  2. Send Email
  3. Send SMS
  4. Send WhatsApp


Calling

You can initiate a call to an applicant directly from the Application Manager on the mobile app. Please note that App Telephony calling is not available on iOS devices.

  3. Consistent Experience Across Web and Mobile: Saved Views created on the web platform are available on the mobile app as well. Your team can apply the same filter combinations they use on the web, ensuring a consistent and familiar experience across both platforms.
  4. Effective Bulk Processing: Bulk actions allow your team to process multiple applications at once, whether it is changing stages, sending communications, or other actions. This is particularly useful during high-volume periods where acting on individual applications one by one is not practical.

Complete Applicant Context in One Place: The Applicant Profile on the mobile app consolidates application details, lead information, events, notes, communication logs, tickets, and call logs in one place. This gives your counselors a full view of the applicant before taking any action, reducing the chances of miscommunication or duplication of effort.
