Bulk Import Applicant Records in Collexo

Overview

Collexo's Bulk Import feature enables you to import “Applicant records” efficiently without duplicates. This process is quick and simple—just upload a CSV, XLS, or XLSX file, and the system will align fee collection with the uploaded applicant records.

Core Functionalities

What You Can Do with Bulk Import?

  • New Records: Import fresh applicant records into Collexo.

  • Overwrite Existing Records: Update existing records with new data points.

How It Works?

1. Upload Your File

  • Navigate to Applicant Records.

  • Click on Add Applicant.

  • Select Bulk Upload.

2. Select File and Upload Type

  • In the upload overlay, click Upload File and select the file you want to import.

  • Supported formats: Excel (.xls, .xlsx) and CSV (.csv).

  • Choose the appropriate action:

    • Add New Records

    • Overwrite Existing Records

  • Select the session to which the records should be assigned.

3. Field Mapping


  • The system will attempt auto-recognition to match column headers with Collexo fields.

  • If fields are not recognized, manually map them using the Collexo field dropdown.

  • Mapped columns will be highlighted separately in the overlay.

4. Upload Logs

  • Once the import is complete, you will receive an email update.

  • Alternatively, check the upload status in the Upload Log section.
