Configuring the Email Verification Banner on SAP
Overview
The email verification banner prompts applicants to verify their email address. It can appear in two places on the Student Application Portal (SAP) — the My Profile section and the Applicant Dashboard. This article explains how to control where the banner appears using the parent toggle and its child dependency.
Note: If this option is enabled, it becomes mandatory for the applicant to verify the email then only the banner would be removed.
Application Settings > Login/Verification Settings > Applicant and Registration Verification Settings
Look for the following two toggles in this section:
Toggle | What it Controls |
Enable Email Verification Banner on My Profile | Parent toggle. Controls the banner on the My Profile section of SAP. |
Enable Email Verification Banner On Applicant Dashboard | Child toggle: Controls the banner on the Applicant Dashboard (My dashboard, Communication, Queries, etc., except for My Profile). |
Note: By default, for new accounts, “Enable Email Verification Banner on My Profile” is enabled.
