Overview
The NIAA Facebook configuration follows the same methodology used for our web and WhatsApp implementations. Facebook bots can be created through two approaches: manual configuration or JSON file deployment.
Once we import the JSON file our NIAA Facebook will be ready to use for further implementations.
Here is our Facebook dashboard>>
Let's configure the APIS first.
Click on email >> Click on edit intent >> paste the API here by selecting the get method
Paste the API>>
Similarly, we will do other API configurations.
We configure the mobile API in the mobile intent>>
Verify email OTP API in verify email OTP
Verify Mobile OTP Api in verify OTP
Resend Email OTP API in
Resend Mobile OTP in
Create Lead API in
Callback API in
Note:
If we import the JSON then all logic will be enabled. All we need to do is configure the API and the intent information.
Important Limitations: NIAA Facebook integration has specific formatting restrictions:
- Buttons and dropdown menus are not supported
- HTML code and "$$$" symbols cannot be utilized
- Only the "###" symbol is permitted for message box separation
Upon completing the API and data configuration, we can proceed with the Facebook integration process.
Facebook integration with NIAA: (Configuration of the Facebook NIAA will be done by the client)
Go to Channels -> Click on connect below the Facebook Symbol.

Then click on continue
If in the URL you see the pop-up block, then click on that pop-up block
Click on Allow pop-ups and click on Done. Then repeat the same process that we have done so far.
Once, you click on the Connect and again click on the Login you will see the dashboard below.

Check if the page where we are placing the NIAA is associated with this account and has full control of the page or not. If the user has full control of the page, then proceed with the next step; otherwise, ask the user to get full control or ask the person who has full control of the page to do the Integration.
Now select the page where we have to integrate the NIAA.
Enable all the toggles and click on Done.
Once you click on Done again, you will see the dashboard below. Click on Ok.
When we click on ok if we see the NIAA Facebook dashboard like this, it means the user who has selected the page doesn’t have full control of the page. Or if they have full control of the page, but still the pages are not visible here, it means they have been denied some permissions. In this case, the client will have to reach out to the Facebook (Meta) team.

If the user has full control of the page, now the user can see the dashboard like this; the selected page will come here. Once we are able to see the page now will click on the connect.
Then select the chatbot that was created for Facebook, which will appear in the dropdown, and click on confirm.
Then the page will get connected to the Chatbot as we can see in the attachment below.
Then ask the client to go to the page that is connected to the NIAA. Go to the inbox section and search for the automation in the inbox section.
Click on the automation and click on the FAQ edit.
Then you will have the below dashboard, where we can configure at least three questions in the button format.

Example: we will add questions like About Us, Admission Process and Placement.
Click on the " Save Changes ".
Then again, ask the client to go to that page where the NIAA has been integrated and ask them to switch the page to your account.
Then, from the Facebook account, find the pages option from the sidebar, click on it, and select the page again from here.
Then click on the message button and check that your NIAA is connected to Facebook.
From here, we can initiate the conversation and test the complete flow.
