How to update Master Data Value in Bulk?

Overview

Master Data  in Meritto helps maintain structured and organized information for efficient data handling.
  1. Permission-Based Access: Ensure only authorized users can modify data.
  2. Efficient Management: Add and update values easily to maintain accuracy.
This ensures streamlined data organization and effective management within the system.

Plan & Permissions

Before proceeding, ensure you have the necessary permissions to create Master Data. Follow these steps to verify access:
  1. Log in to your Meritto Account.
  2. Expand the Menu and locate FormDesk.
  3. Expand FormDesk and select Manage Master Data.
  4. If you can see the Create button in the Master Data Listing page, you have the required permissions.
  5. If you do not see any of these options, contact your Customer Success Manager for assistance.

Step-by-Step Guide to Create Master Data

Creating Master Data

Once you have access to Manage Master Data, follow these steps:
  1. Navigate to Manage Master Data.
  2. In case master data needs to be updated then click on the individual action button corresponding to the master data value as highlighted in the below screenshot, and click on the “Upload Value” option.



  3. Please upload the CSV file such that, if any existing value/name needs to be updated, you include the corresponding Master Data ID (as available in the system) along with the revised value.
    If the Master Data ID field is left blank, the entry will be treated as a new master data value and will be added accordingly.
  4. Once clicked on the Save button then the process of master data value updation would be initiated which further can be tracked from the logs page.
Notes
Please note: At a time maximum of 2 level of master data values can be updated.
