Lead Fields Limit in Meritto CRM

Lead Fields Limit in Meritto CRM

Overview

This article outlines the limits for creating and managing custom fields within Meritto’s Lead Fields module. Understanding these limitations is crucial for efficiently utilizing your allocated resources and ensuring the optimal performance of your CRM.
Meritto's custom field limits are designed to help you proactively manage your data structure. By providing clear visibility into your available capacity, these limits allow for better planning and a more organized approach to your data collection. This system ensures your data remains structured, scalable, and optimized for peak system performance.

Plan & Limits

The number of custom fields you can create is directly tied to your current Meritto subscription plan. Each plan comes with a specific, predefined limit on the overall number of custom fields you can create, as well as caps on each individual field type.

NotesNote: The sum of all field types can exceed the total field limit, but the system will only allow creation of fields up to the overall limit and the specific field type limits.
  1. Example: In the Starter Plan (overall limit: 50), even if you haven’t reached the individual cap for any field type, you cannot create more than 50 fields in total.
  2. Similarly, if you have created only 45 fields in total, you can still create only up to 25 dropdown fields.
  3. System-defined fields are excluded from these limits.

Restrictions

When your account's custom field usage exceeds the overall limit set by your subscription plan, the following restriction will be automatically applied to your account:
  1. New Custom Field Creation Blocked: You will be unable to add any new custom fields to your account.
This restriction will remain in effect until your total custom field count is brought back within your plan's allowed limit. This can be achieved by deleting existing, unused custom fields.

Points to Keep in Mind

  1. Your custom field limit is determined by your account's subscription plan.
  2. The limits are set for individual field types to maintain system performance.
  3. The total number of fields cannot exceed your plan’s overall field limit. To increase the limit, you will need to upgrade to a higher plan. If the account is already on the Pro Plan, there is no add-on available for Custom Fields. Instead, you can use Dynamic Fields or other features as alternatives.

Conclusion

Custom Field Limits in Meritto’s Lead Fields module provide a clear framework for managing your data. By understanding and adhering to these limits, you can maintain an organized and efficient data environment, ensuring that as you scale your data collection efforts, your growth remains structured and manageable.
