Send Split Payment Link from Collexo
Overview
The Split Payment Link feature in Collexo allows you to divide a payment amount into multiple parts, each with a defined due date. This functionality is especially useful when payments are collected primarily through payment links and when different applicants have varying installment structures and due dates.
Core Functionalities
Flexible Split Payment Options
Payments can be split:
Equally
By Specific Amount
By Specific Percentage
You can assign specific due dates for each installment or allow payments without an expiry date.
Applicants can choose to pay each split amount one-time or partially.
Payment Tracking & Management
All split payments can be viewed in Track Payments and Payment Links.
The discount feature applies as per the standard rules.
How Does It Works?
1. Navigate to Split Payment Link
Go to Collect Payments > Payment Link > Split Payment Link.
2. Create a New Payment Link
Click on + Payment Link.
Enter the required payment details.
Choose the number of splits and the type of split (Equal, Specific Amount, or Specific Percentage).
3. Define Installment Dates
Set the Start Date and End Date for each split.
Click on Generate Link to create the split payment link.
4. Track & Manage Payments
The generated link will be available in Track Payment and Payment Details under the Split Payment Link section.
Applicant View
The applicant receives the payment link via Email or SMS.
Upon clicking the link, they are directed to a summary page displaying all split payments.
The Pay Now button appears based on the defined start and end dates for each installment.
Applicants can make payments accordingly.
