Overview

Master Data in Meritto contains predefined values such as Course list, Occupation, Nationality, and Country that are referenced across different forms. Viewing and managing master data helps you maintain consistency and accuracy in your application processes.

This article explains how to effectively view, search, filter, and download master data from the Meritto CRM, ensuring smooth data management and decision-making.

Plan & Permissions

• Access to Meritto CRM with FormDesk enabled.

• Required Permissions:

• Manage Master Data – To view, search, and filter master data.

• Download Master Data – To download master data values.

Note: If you do not see the Manage Master Data option in your menu, contact your Customer Success Manager for assistance.

Core Functionalities

Viewing Master Data

To view master data:

1. Navigate to Master Data:

• Log in to your Meritto CRM account.
• Expand the Menu and click on FormDesk.
• Select Manage Master Data from the sub-menu.

2. Master Data Listing:

• You will see a list of all master data created and used across your forms.
• Click on any Master Data Title to view its associated values.
• An overlay will open from the right, showing all related values (e.g., for Master Occupation, values may include Agriculture, Retired, etc.).

 Pro Tip: To go back to the previous level, use the breadcrumb at the top.

Searching Master Data

1. Click the Search Icon on the top-right corner of the Master Data Listing page.
2. Search Options:
   
1. Search by Master Data Title (e.g., Course, Occupation).
   
2. Search by Master Data Values (e.g., B.Tech, BBA).
   

Pro Tip: You can also search within the Master Data Details overlay for specific values by clicking on Search Icon on the top-right corner of the page.

Filtering Master Data

To filter master data:

1. Click on the Funnel Icon located on the top-right corner of the Master Data page.

2. Apply filters based on:

• Master Data Status

• Date and Time

• Last Updated On

• Type of Master Data

Outcome: Filtering helps narrow down master data for faster navigation and decision-making.

Downloading Master Data

To download master data:

1. Search for the required Master Data Title.

2. Click on the Single Action button next to the title.

3. Select Download Values.

4. Confirm the download by clicking Yes on the pop-up.

5. You will be redirected to the Request Status page.

6. You will see a Successful Download Intimation screen. Just Click on the hyperlink.

7. Once the download request shows a Completed status:

• Click on the Single Action button against the request.

• Select Download to download the CSV file.
  
  

Outcome: The downloaded CSV will contain the master data and all its associated values in order of dependency.
