Zing is Meritto's real-time sales notification engine designed to empower sales teams with instant updates on critical activities. By delivering timely notifications across multiple channels, Zing helps sales teams stay informed, enabling them to take swift action and close deals effectively.

Core Functionalities

Enabling Zing

To enable Zing for your account:

  1. Enable Permissions:

    • Ensure that Zing View and Zing Edit permissions are enabled at both the account level and the user level.( Manage permissions)

    • Once the user has the required permissions, they should navigate to the Zing page and enable notifications based on their preferences and needs.

    • These permissions allow users to view and modify their notification preferences. Important: Zing configuration must be enabled at both the account level and the user level for notifications to be received.

  2. Access Zing Menu:

    • Once permissions are enabled, the Zing Menu becomes available.

    • Click on Zing to open the Zing Listing Page.

    • The listing page displays a list of notifications available based on the modules your organization has subscribed to.

Notification Categories

Zing supports notifications across six key modules. Each module allows users to choose their preferred delivery channels: Web, Mobile App, and Email.

Notifications for Leads

The Lead notifications section displays all available lead-related activity triggers. Users can independently enable Web, App, or Email delivery for each.

Personalizing Your Notification Preferences

Zing allows you to fully customize which notifications you receive and through which channels, so you only get updates that are relevant to your role.

Steps to Enable/Disable Notifications:

  1. Select the checkbox next to the desired activity in the Zing Listing Page.

  2. Choose the preferred channel(s):

    • Web: Stay updated while working on the Meritto platform.

    • Mobile App: Receive notifications on the go via push alerts.

    • Email: Ensure critical updates reach your inbox directly.

  3. Click Save to activate the selected notifications.

To disable a notification, simply uncheck the relevant checkbox and click Save. Notifications can be disabled independently for Web and Mobile App.

Previewing Notification Content

Before activating a notification, you can preview how it will appear to recipients across each channel.
  • Click the Preview icon  (👁) to view the content of the notification.
  • A preview panel will open, displaying tabs for Web, Mobile App, and Email.
  • Each tab shows a sample of how the notification message will be rendered on that channel.

  • Email delivery is pre-configured by your administrator.

  • Ensure sufficient email credits are available in your account to guarantee uninterrupted notifications.
