Prerequisites

Before proceeding with Header registration, ensure that:

  • Your organization is registered on a DLT platform.

  • The required documents are submitted and under review.

  • You have access to the VILPower DLT portal.

Steps to Register a DLT Header on VILPower

1. Navigate to the Headers Section

  1. Log in to your VILPower DLT account.

  2. Click on the "Headers" option in the dashboard.

  3. Select "SMS Headers" to proceed.

2. Add a New Header

  1. Click on the "Add" button.

  2.  Select Header ID and choose the Header Type:

  • Promotional: Used for marketing campaigns, offers, and discounts. Requires a six-digit numeric sender ID.

  • Others (Transactional/Service): Used for transactional messages like OTPs, notifications, and updates. Requires a text-based sender ID.

3. Enter Header Details

  1. Enter your preferred Header Name (must match your registered company or brand name).

  2. Click Check Availability:

    • If available and matches your company name, proceed with OTP verification.

    • If available but does not match your company name, provide justification for the chosen header.

    • If unavailable, try another variation of the Header Name.

  3. Submit the request for approval.

4. Monitor Approval Status

  1. Track your submitted Headers under the "Headers" tab.

  2. Approved Headers will reflect a status of "Approved".

  3. If rejected, review the reason and modify your submission accordingly.
