How to Create a Landing Page using HTML builder?

A Landing Page is a standalone web page designed for marketing and advertising purposes. It is where visitors land after clicking on a promotional link in an email, advertisement, or social media post. This article will guide you through the process of creating a landing page using Meritto's HTML Builder.

Plan & Permissions

Before proceeding, ensure you meet the following requirements:

  • The file type should be .html.

  • Use Bootstrap version 3 or 4.

  • Maximum of 5 CSS files and 10 JS files allowed.

  • Remove unnecessary code from JS and CSS files to prevent conflicts with the registration form code.

  • The image folder size should not exceed 5MB.

  • If specific fonts are needed, include a Font Folder.

  • The banner image width should be 1366px x 768px.

Step-by-Step Guide to Create a Landing Page using HTML Uploader

1. Navigate to the Template Manager

  • Click on the hamburger icon on top-left corner in the main menu.

  • Select Template Manager.

  • Click on Manage Landing Page.

2. Create a New Landing Page

  • Click on Create Template button on the top-right corner of the screen and a window will open.

  • Choose HTML Uploader as the preferred method.

  • Choose the type of page:

    • Landing Page – Designed for marketing and allows widget placement.

    • Application Page – Used to collect applicant details and login credentials.

  • Clicking on either option will redirect you to the respective page.

3. Upload HTML and Associated Files

  • Complete all mandatory fields and click Save & Next.

  • The next page will load, where you can select the required Template and click Save & Next.

    • Use the JS Upload section for JavaScript files.

    • Use the CSS Upload section for stylesheets.

    • Click Save & Next to apply changes.

4. Edit the Landing Page Content

  • Modify the Body and other sections as needed.

  • Click Save and then select Preview to review your changes.

5. Publish the Landing Page

  • Once satisfied with the design and content, click Publish.

How to Find the Landing Page URL

  1. Navigate to Template Manager > Manage Landing Page.

  2. Locate the required landing page template.

  3. Click on the Action Button on the right side of the template.

  4. Select Get URL from the dropdown menu to copy and share the landing page link.
