After an applicant submits their application form and the payment is successfully processed, they may lose the ability to edit their details. This restriction ensures data integrity and prevents unauthorized changes after submission. However, if any corrections or updates are needed—such as fixing errors in personal details, updating documents, or making necessary modifications—authorized users have the ability to manually update the submitted application.
This feature is particularly useful in scenarios where applicants provide incorrect information, upload the wrong documents, or request changes after submission. It allows you to make necessary adjustments without requiring the applicant to resubmit the entire form, ensuring a smoother and more efficient application management process.
You must have Edit Applications permissions under Application Manager to make changes.
Ensure access to the Application Manager module in Meritto.
Navigate to Application Manager > Manage Applications.
Selecting a Form:
Click on the Form Name at the top-left corner of the page, whose applications you want to filter.
This will display you a list of applicants who have applied under the selected form.
Search for the specific applicant whose application needs to be edited.
On the right-hand side, next to the applicant’s details, click on the Action button and select Edit Application.
A pop-up window will open with the application form filled by the applicant.
Expand the section that requires editing and make the necessary changes.
Example: To edit Academic Details, expand the section and click Edit.
After making the changes, click Save to update the information.
Changes not saving? Ensure all mandatory fields are properly filled before saving.
Unable to find an applicant? Verify that the correct Form Name and filters are applied.
No edit option available? Check if you have the necessary permissions under Application Manager.
Editing applications in Meritto allows you to correct or update applicant details, ensuring that the information remains accurate and up to date. This is particularly useful for making necessary changes due to errors, updates in applicant information, or institutional requirements. By following the process, you can efficiently modify submitted applications while maintaining data integrity and consistency.
