New updates in Opportunity Manager

Overview 

Across verticals, Opportunity Manager has been empowering educational organizations to unlock the full conversion potential of every student interest. 
Now, we’ve made the Opportunity Manager even more powerful, with three new updates designed around how teams actually work with opportunities. With them, it’s now easier than ever to upload, report, and manage opportunities in a way that fits seamlessly into your existing workflows.

What’s New?

  1.  Custom Tabs in Opportunity - Create custom tabs inside the Opportunity profile to group related fields, in order to reduce scrolling and confusion during critical conversations by surfacing only the data you need. This makes the Opportunity Profile more structured and organized. 

    Features and capabilities 
    1. You decide what’s most relevant and sort it accordingly. For eg, the admissions team might group "Application Status, Scores, and Documents” but for the finance team, the tab would include “Fee Status, Due Date, and Scholarship Eligibility” instead. 
    2. Add, edit, delete, show, hide, or even change the priority order of tabs as workflows evolve, keeping the profile interface clean and relevant.
    3. Choose which fields appear inside each tab you create and then grant access for it to specific users, teams, or roles, hence decluttering views for users. 

  2. Opportunity Fields in Report Builder - While you could create reports with opportunity data in Report Builder previously, we’ve now taken it a step further with opportunity fields fully integrated in Report Builder, empowering you with complete visibility in your reports. 

    Features and use cases 
    1. Bring default, dynamic, and logic fields from Opportunity into Report Builder, so you can track and view everything in one report.
    2. For example, when a lead applies to multiple courses, you can see how each one progresses. Even if you want to see how many opportunities a counselor is managing in one branch, you can build and analyze it all in a single report. 

  3. Opportunity Bulk Offline Upload - Opportunities can come in bulk, through events, referrals, walk-ins, or even offline sheets your teams maintain while nurturing. Until now, uploading or updating them in the CRM meant doing it one record at a time, which was slow and error-prone.
    With Bulk Offline Upload, you can now add and update thousands of opportunities in one go. Whether it’s fresh opportunities tied to existing leads or updated statuses your team worked on offline. And every field, system, or dynamic syncs back automatically into the CRM. 

    Features and capabilities 
    1. Faster pipeline building: Import entire datasets at once, so no inquiry or interest is left behind. If a record doesn’t match any existing lead, a new lead is created automatically. 
    2. Seamless updates: Re-upload offline sheets, and all changes, be it status updates, follow-up dates, or any dynamic fields, are instantly reflected in the CRM.
    3. Smarter, cleaner uploads: Auto-mapping aligns fields, previews let you confirm before upload, and duplicates or invalid data are flagged upfront, reducing cleanup work.
