Overview

The Product Sales Performance Dashlet provides insights into the total number of products sold, categorized into Single and Bundled sales. It helps you analyze the volume and type of product sales, enabling data-driven decisions to optimize the admissions process.

Core Functionalities

  • Single Product Sales
    • Displays data for single transactions where individual products are sold separately.
    • Example:
      • A student buys an application form and later purchases a score report or pays a token fee in separate transactions.
      • Each product sold is recorded as an independent transaction.

  • Bundled Product Sales
    • Displays data for bundled transactions where multiple products are sold together.
    • Example:
      • An exam pack that includes the application form and token fee purchased in one transaction.
      • Hostel fee and tuition fee paid in a single transaction.

  1. Date Range Filtering
    1. Apply a Date Range to:
      1. Filter data based on a specific period.
      2. Select a pre-defined date range or customize the range to view product sales data for the desired timeframe.
  1. Quick Data Download
    1. Easily Download Data by clicking on the download icon.
    2. Data is exported in CSV format for detailed analysis and record-keeping.

Enabling and Managing Product Sales Performance Dashlet

How to Enable Product Sales Performance Dashlet

If the Product Sales Performance Dashlet is not enabled by default, follow these steps to add it:

  1. Navigate to Admin Dashboard:

    • Go to Dashboard > Admin Dashboard from the left-hand navigation panel.

  2. Add the Dashlet:

    • Click on "Add Dashlet".

    • Select the Product Sales Performance Dashlet from the list of available dashlets.

    • Toggle it ON to enable the dashlet.

  3. Save View:

    • Click on Save View to apply the changes and add the dashlet to your view.

  4. This dashlet shows the data of the total number of products sold for each form with the product type. For example:

   a. When products are sold individually and when we only have an Application fee

   b. When products are sold individually and when we have both an application form and a token fee


Using Quick Actions in Product Sales Performance Dashlet

The Product Sales Performance Dashlet offers 3 Quick Action options:

  1. Apply Date Range:

    • Select a desired date range and click Apply to filter the data accordingly.

  2. Download Data:

    • Click on the Download button to export the data in CSV format for further analysis.

  3. Filter by Purchase Type/Form:

    • Use the Filter icon to refine data based on publishers or forms to get more granular insights.
