Overview

ILearn is an online platform used for delivering courses under the e-VBAB project, an initiative by the Ministry of External Affairs to offer Tele-education services. Through ILearn, students from partner African countries can apply for fully funded scholarships for online Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Diploma, and Certificate programs in various disciplines such as Computer Applications, Business Administration, Healthcare, Tourism, and Humanities.

• Available for: Universities participating in the e-VBAB project.

• Permissions Required:

• Access to ILearn Authentication Settings.

• API credentials from Team Ardhas for enabling authentication.

Core Functionalities

How ILearn Works

• Register on the iLearn Platform and create a profile with contact details, residence, and preferred Learning Centres.

• Browse Programs available under the initiative.

• Explore Partner Universities and select a program of interest to proceed to the respective University page.

Configuring Authentication via ILearn

1. Enable Authentication via ILearn

• Navigate to Form Basic Configuration.

• Toggle Enable Authentication via ILearn.

• Click on Settings and go to Application Settings >> Login/Verification Settings.

• Click on Enable Authentication via ILearn.

2. Enter Authentication Details

• Provide the following details from the JSON file shared by Team Ardhas:

• Client Email

• Private Key & ID

• Client ID

• API Endpoint

• Click on Enable Production Mode and click Save to activate ILearn authentication on the Form Landing Page.

Applicant Flow

• When a student visits the University Page, they enter their Email ID and click Validate.

• If they are not registered on ILearn, they must create a profile before proceeding.

• If they already have an ILearn profile, their Name, Mobile Number, and Learning Centre details will auto-populate.

• The student completes the remaining details and submits the Application Form.

Note: As of now, the ILEarn authentication as well as the Application process is LIVE on Meritto for 5 universities/colleges as below

• Vignan University

• Jain University
