Managing Master Data Visibility allows precise control over which data is displayed or hidden, ensuring a clear and organized view of records.
Show or Hide Data: Customize visibility settings based on requirements.

This ensures efficient data management while keeping records structured and accessible.
To perform this action, you must have access to Master Data and permission to update its status. Follow these steps to check your access:
Log in to your Meritto account.
Expand the Menu and navigate to FormDesk.
Click Manage Master Data under FormDesk.
On the Master Data Listing page, check if you can see the toggle to Show/Hide Master Data or a Single Action option to Show/Hide Conditionally.
If you do not see these options, please contact your Customer Success Manager.
If Master Data is used in multiple forms and you need to show or hide a specific value across all forms, follow these steps:
Go to Manage Master Data under FormDesk.
Click the required Master Data value.
Use the toggle switch:
Turn the toggle right to show the value in all forms.
Turn the toggle left to hide the value from all forms.
A confirmation pop-up will appear displaying the impact of this action.
Click Yes to proceed with the action.
If you need to hide a Master Data value from selected forms instead of all forms, follow these steps:
Go to Manage Master Data.
Locate the Master Data value and click on the Single Action icon.
Select Show/Hide Conditionally and a window will open.
Define the rule:
Enter a Rule Name.
Select the value(s) to be shown or hidden.
Click Next to proceed to Step 2.
Choose execution settings:
Execute the rule immediately or schedule it for a specific date and time.
Define whether the action applies to Applicants or College Users.
Select whether to show or hide the value from the Application Manager Filter.
If scheduling, select the Date and Time.
Click Next to proceed to Step 3.
Select the forms where the selected value should be shown/hidden.
Click Save. A confirmation pop-up will appear explaining the impact of your action.
Click Yes to execute or schedule the rule.
You will be redirected to the Show/Hide Conditional Rules Listing, where you can view all created rules along with their statuses.
A rule will be executed only if the selected Master Data value is currently set to "Shown in All Forms." Otherwise, the rule will be disabled.
Ensure that the selected Master Data value is not actively used in any configuration before hiding it.
