Lead Fields (formerly known as Manage Registration Fields) is a module within Meritto designed to give you complete control over your CRM data fields. These fields are used to collect data from the lead during the registration process. It provides robust functionality to create, manage, and monitor both System and Custom fields directly from one centralized location. This streamlined process ensures you can effortlessly tailor your CRM to your specific needs, all within a user-friendly interface.
System Fields: These are essential, pre-configured fields that come with your Meritto CRM account by default. While they form the foundation of your lead data, you can still customize key attributes like visibility and mandatory status to align with your business processes.
Custom Fields: These are flexible, user-created fields that you can build from scratch to capture information. With custom fields, you have full control over the field name, Field Type (e.g., text, dropdown, date), validation rules, and other properties. This allows you to collect the specific data you need to effectively manage and nurture your leads.
The Lead Fields module is available across various customer plans, with the number of custom fields you can create tied to your specific subscription level. If your account has subscribed to the "Custom Fields" feature, you will get the Lead Fields feature, and these permissions will also be available. There are no additional dependencies or configurations required to start using this feature.
To manage Lead Fields, you will need one or more of the following permissions:
View Lead Fields: Allows you to view the field listing page and monitor field status.
Add Lead Fields: Grants permissions to create new custom fields.
Edit Lead Fields: Grants permission to edit new and existing fields and enable or disable the Lead Field.
Edit Lead Fields Settings: Required to edit to CRM Field Settings where you can configure the dependencies as well as Machine Keys.
Delete Lead Fields: Enables you to delete custom fields that are no longer needed.
