Managing your Suppressions List is essential for maintaining healthy email deliverability and domain reputation. When emails fail to reach recipients due to issues such as spam complaints, bounces, or unsubscribes, they get added to the suppressions list. Understanding how to handle suppressed emails ensures that your marketing and transactional emails reach the right audience effectively.

Block: The recipient’s email server rejects the message due to issues related to the message content or sending IP. Blocks are not always permanent.
Bounce: The email is rejected and returned to the sender due to an invalid or unreachable recipient address.
Soft Bounce: Temporary issues like a full inbox or server timeout.
Hard Bounce: Permanent issues such as an invalid or non-existent email address.
Invalid: The recipient’s email address does not exist on the mail server.
Spam Complaint: The recipient marks your email as spam, automatically adding the email to the suppressions list.
