This article outlines the limits and restrictions associated with creating webform widgets in Meritto. Understanding these limitations is crucial for managing your lead-capture strategy effectively and ensuring the optimal performance of your account.
Meritto's widget limits are designed to help you proactively manage your resources. By providing clear visibility into your available capacity, these limits allow for better planning and a more organised approach to your lead generation campaigns. You can monitor your usage through indicators and progress bars, ensuring you never exceed your plan's allowance unexpectedly.

Plan & Limits

Your ability to create webform widgets is directly tied to your current Meritto subscription plan. Each plan comes with a specific, predefined limit on the total number of widgets you can create.

For users who require more widgets than their plan allows, Meritto offers the option to purchase add-on widgets. These add-ons are counted in addition to your plan's standard limit.
Please note that there is a hard cap on the total number of widgets that can be created per account, which is 500 widgets.

Restrictions

When your account's widget usage exceeds the limit set by your subscription plan, the following restrictions will be automatically applied to your account:
  1. New Widget Creation Blocked: You will be unable to add any new widgets to your account.
These restrictions will remain in effect until your total widget count is brought back within your plan's allowed limit. This can be achieved by either deleting existing, unused widgets or by upgrading your subscription plan to one with a higher limit.

View Your Widget Usage and Limit



Option 1: View Total Widget Count
  1. Go to the View Widgets section from your CRM sidebar.
  2. Look at the bottom-left side of the page. A blue button labelled “Total Records” displays the number of widgets used in your account.
Option 2: View Usage with Progress Bar
  1. Select any existing widget to open the Edit Widget screen.
  2. You’ll see a visual usage indicator like 3/5, showing widgets used vs. total allowed. To 
The usage bar dynamically reflects changes as widgets are created or deleted.

Points to Keep in Mind

  1. The usage count includes both enabled and disabled widgets.
  2. Your widget limit is determined by the plan in your account.
  3. If you reach your limit, you’ll be unable to create new widgets until you delete some or upgrade your limit.
