The Scoring Workflow feature in Meritto allows you to evaluate eligibility, normalize data, and update specific fields in the application form based on predefined conditions. This feature helps automate decision-making and data management by applying conditional logic to applicant data.
Disabled Fields: Create required fields (Dropdown or Text Field) inside the application form to store the results of the scoring workflow.
Navigate to Post Application > Workflow Automation.
Institute Name: Select your institute.
Click on Create Automation Workflow on the top-right corner of the page.
Select the Scoring radio button.
Provide the following details:
Form Name: Choose the applicable form.
Title of Workflow: Define a descriptive workflow name.
Status: Set as Inactive while configuring logic.
Click on the Gear Icon and select Edit Logic to define conditions.
There are two things that you can do
Calculate and populate the value in a field
Create a drop-down field and update the field with the value when the condition is satisfied.
You can define conditions to:
Update Field Values: Update a field based on conditions such as percentage or board name.
Select the form field that captures the percentage value greater than or equal to in the condition part and give the percentage value based on your requirement.
Now Select the disabled drop-down field name and select the value based on the requirement whether they are eligible or not.
Example: Update a dropdown field as "Eligible" if the percentage is greater than 60%

Update Logic for Field Values: Define conditions to update a field dynamically.
Example: If you want to update the value in any given field based on a certain condition, then we have to select update logic from the drop-down.
Select the form field that captures the board value select "is equal to" in the condition part and select the board name or any required condition.
Now Select the disabled drop-down field name and do the required calculation.
Click Add Logic at bottom-right corner to define multiple conditions within the same workflow.
Click the Gear Icon next to the workflow name.
Select Edit Workflow.
Change the Status to Active.

Note:
Sort order determines the sequence of logic execution.
Maintain a gap of at least 10 between sort orders to allow for future condition additions.
Multiple logics can be applied within a workflow.
"Top" can be used with either "sum" or "average."
The value updates each time the workflow is executed.
Automated Eligibility Check: Evaluate applicant eligibility without manual intervention.
Data Normalization: Standardize diverse data for uniform evaluation.
Custom Scoring Models: Define unique scoring logic based on your criteria.
Eligibility Check: Automatically verify if an applicant meets eligibility criteria and update a field accordingly.
Example: Update a dropdown field as "Eligible" if a candidate has scored more than 85% in both 10th and 12th.
Score Normalization: Standardize scores from different education boards for consistent evaluation.
Document-Based Scoring: Assign scores to applicants who have uploaded required documents, beyond lead activity-based scoring.
