All about Viewing Teams and Hierarchy

Overview

Viewing Teams and Hierarchy enables efficient team management by organizing users into groups with defined permissions.

  • Team Structure: Groups users based on location, hierarchy, or reporting needs.

  • Access Control: Data visibility is managed through assigned permissions.

  • Default Admin Team: An 'Admin' team is automatically created for all clients.

  • This product aims to:

  1. Simplify the user experience in viewing individual or other team members' data

  2. Defining a hierarchy or reporting amongst team members in viewing data

This ensures streamlined team collaboration and controlled data access within the system.

Plan & Permissions

To access the Teams and Hierarchy feature, you must have the Manage User and Manage Team permissions enabled. Follow these steps to verify your access:

  1. Log in to your Meritto account.

  2. Expand the Menu and navigate to User Access Control.

  3. Click on Manage User.

  4. On the User Listing page, select the Teams tab to access team-related settings.

  • Creator Information – Who created the team.

  • Assigned Users – A preview of users assigned to the team.

  • Default Admin Team – Automatically generated and cannot be deleted.

  • If a team has multiple users, only the first four user initials or profile images will be visible on the card.

  • A clickable count will indicate additional users, leading to a detailed All Users Listing page.

Actions Available on the User Listing Page:

  • Remove a User from a team.

  • Add a User to a team.

  • Modify User Permissions within a team.

Users with Manage Team permissions can view the Team Hierarchy:
