Once created, these fields appear within user profiles and can be used in automations under Allocate Users, making them ideal for routing and segmentation.

Once you are on the Manage Custom User Fields page, look for the New Field button in the top right corner. Click this button to begin creating a field.
A configuration window will open on the right side panel. You will move through multiple sections to define the field’s behavior and attributes.
This is where you define the Field Name, Field Type, and the Field Key. Available field types include Text, Text Area, Dropdown, and Date Field. These settings determine how the field will appear inside the user profile.
Options in this section vary depending on the selected Field Type.
For example, Text fields allow you to configure input style and character limits, Dropdown fields allow you to add options- Master or Custom Data while Date fields offer format and range settings.
Here you configure the field’s validation rules. You can specify whether the field is Mandatory or can even choose to hide or show the field, determine who can view or edit it, and configure whether the field carries sensitive information requiring additional controls.
