Your source values, your rules — clean, controlled, institute-level.

How to Create a Publisher/Referrer?

  • Use this when you’re adding a new marketing source — like a new aggregator, partner, or campaign platform.
  • Steps:
    • Go to Settings → Campaign Management → Campaign Grouping
    • Expand the Traffic Channel(s) accordion by clicking on
    • Open the Traffic Channel accordion under which you want to create the publisher/referrer by clicking on

    • Pop-up the Custom Publisher/Referrer(s) accordion by clicking on

    • Click on ➕ "Add Publisher/Referrer"
    • A modal will appear to allow you to add
  • Publisher Name
    • It is mandatory to add a unique name and it can have a maximum of 100 characters in length
  • Source Tags (utm_source values like shikshasiksha, etc.).
    • Please note, these must be unique. That is, if you add a source tag to 1 publisher/referrer it cannot be reused in other active publishers/referrers unless the existing publisher/referrer is disabled or the source tag is removed from here.
    • Try adding as many variations as possible to account for spelling errors. However, make sure you only add those source tags which aren’t required for any other publisher/referrer
  • Logo, URL (optional)
  • Associated Traffic Channel
    • Please note:
      1. Only active Traffic Channels shall be shown in the list.
      2. Unclassified Traffic Channel won’t be visible when you are creating publisher/referrer in any other Traffic Channel except Unclassified > Custom Publishers/Referred
  • Bucket leads from offline lead origin separately
    • Use this, only if you want to see the leads coming via offline uploads (Quick Lead, Bulk Upload)
  • Publisher Type - Campaign Group or Publisher
    • If you want to give a Publisher Panel access based on this Publisher/Referrer, then select Publisher Type as “Publisher”
    • If you do not want to give a Publisher Panel access based on this Publisher/Referrer, then select Publisher Type as “Campaign Group”
  • Send Custom Email And SMS
    • This allows you to send Publisher specific email templates (it is recommended to keep it disabled)

  • Once you added all the details, click on Save
  • Click on Yes to continue and No to cancel

  • Review the impact and type Create & Sync All Leads to create

  • The newly created Publisher/Referrer will appear in your active publisher/referrer list for the associated Traffic Channel

Result:

  • Publisher gets created with mapped source tags
  • Leads with those source values now attribute to this publisher. That is, all the existing and incoming leads with the matching utm_source will start getting classified under this Publisher/Referrer
  • Publisher/Referrer is now visible across dashboards (if there are leads already present with the matching source tags)
  • All the added source tags are re-routed under the new publisher/referrer
