Introducing WhatsApp Flows

What are WhatsApp Flows?

WhatsApp Flows is a way to build structured interactions for messaging your prospective students. Using WhatsApp Flows, you can define, configure, and customize messages with rich interactions that give your students a better experience while interacting with you via WhatsApp. You can use WhatsApp Flows to gather more information on your leads, convert raw data into leads, recommend other courses, or anything else where structured communication is more natural or comfortable for your prospective students.

Within Meritto, you can create and use WhatsApp Flows right from within your Meritto Dashboard.

Please note, Meritto currently offers WhatsApp Flows, to all our customers using WhatsApp via Direct integration in Meritto (Settings > Extensions > App Store).

When to use WhatsApp Flows?

You can use WhatsApp Flows whenever you want to gather more information about your prospective students. Here, are a few ideas for you:

Missed call follow-ups

Send an automated WhatsApp message with a Flow button after a missed call to capture student details and program preferences instantly.

Lead qualification

Turn raw data into leads by sharing WhatsApp Flows that capture key information and qualify prospects on the spot.

Feedback & surveys

Collect structured feedback and survey responses after webinars, events, or campaigns, all within WhatsApp.

How to create your own Flow?

If you are using WhatsApp in Meritto via Direct Integration, we have already enabled WhatsApp Flows for your institute’s Meritto Administrator.

To create your first WhatsApp Flow,

  • Go to Marketing > WhatsApp Flow from the side Menu. You can, alternatively, search for “WhatsApp Flow”

  • Click on “Create”

  • Give a name to your WhatsApp Flow and add basic details

  • Build your flow using our “Drag and Drop” Builder

  • Map your variables with Lead Fields

  • Save and Exit to activate your Flow

How to create a WhatsApp template using WhatsApp Flows?

  • Go to Template Manager > Manage Communication Template. You can, alternatively, search for “Manager Communication Template”

  • Click on “Create Template > WhatsApp Business”

  • Create your WhatsApp template like usual

  • In the listed CTAs, select “Flows”

  • Give a name to your action button for “Flows” and attach the relevant flow.

  • Save and submit for approval

  • Once approved and enabled, you can use WhatsApp Templates with Flows as usual
