Zoom Integration in Meritto simplifies the virtual post-application process by enabling seamless video conferencing for interviews and evaluations.
Configuring the Zoom accounts and users.
Setup of Zoom meetings from the Meritto portal to streamline the Interview/Evaluation process.
Allow candidates and evaluators to join Zooms directly from the Meritto portal.
This ensures a streamlined and efficient interview and evaluation process within Meritto.
A Zoom Business Admin account is required.
Access to the Virtual Post Application module in the Meritto portal.
Navigate to Post Application in the menu and click Virtual Post Application.
Select the relevant Form Name for which you want to enable Zoom meetings.
Click on Let's Get Started.
Drag the Schedule Video Meeting tab from the Post Application Stages list into the Design your Post Application Process workflow window.
Click Next Step.
Enable the toggle for Zoom and confirm by clicking Yes in the pop-up.
Click on the Zoom logo, enter a meaningful Alias Name (e.g., "MBA HR Account"), and click Connect.
Click the downward arrow to expand the mapping section.
Map Meritto evaluators to corresponding Zoom users.
Click the + icon to map more users and - if you wish to remove any of the mapped accounts.
Click Save to complete the integration.
Meritto provides two ways to schedule video meetings: Manual Panel Assignment and CSV Upload.
Select the list of candidates requiring evaluation.
Click Manual Assignment of the Panel.
Assign:
Scorecard
Evaluator
Tentative Date and Time for evaluation
Enable Schedule Video Meetings by selecting Yes.
Choose Zoom as the video meeting platform.
Set the tentative Duration of the interview.
Once assigned, the candidate will see a Join Video Meeting button on their dashboard on the tentative date and time for the evaluation.
Navigate to Post Application > Virtual Post Application.
Select the Form Name and click Let’s Get Started.
Drag the Panel Assignment tab from the Post Application Stages list into the Design your Post Application Process workflow.
Click Next Step.
Select the relevant Scorecard from the dropdown.
Select an Evaluator (if assigning only one). If assigning multiple evaluators, skip this step.
Upload a CSV file matching the required format (download a sample file for reference).
Select Zoom as the video meeting platform from the dropdown menu and click Upload Data.
On the Label Mapping page, map uploaded fields to the corresponding Meritto Labels.
Click Start Import.
Once the import is complete:
Evaluators will be assigned to candidates.
A Zoom meeting link will be generated.
The Institute/College user can view the link in Manage Scorecard.
Candidates will see a Join Video Meeting button on their dashboard at the scheduled time.
Ensure that the Zoom Business Admin account is active and properly configured.
Double-check evaluator-to-Zoom user mapping before saving.
The CSV file format must match the sample provided by Meritto.
There can be instances where the Zoom button to join the video link is not visible on the applicant dashboard. It can be due to:
The student is trying to access the Zoom meeting before the buffer time. Based on the buffer time that is provided, the Zoom meeting button starts appearing.
In cases of offline interviews, based on what is communicated to the applicant, the zoom button will not be displayed. However, the applicants will see that the slot is booked.
