It enables you to monitor key SMS metrics such as delivery rates, click-through rates, DND restrictions, and other statuses that impact communication effectiveness.
With detailed bifurcation between Activity-based and Engagement-based SMS, this Dashlet ensures that you can effectively track and optimize your SMS communication strategies.
The SMS Communication Statistic Dashlet offers a detailed breakdown of SMS activity, bifurcated into two key sections on the left side:
Activity-Based SMS:
Represents system-generated SMS sent automatically based on lead activity.
Examples include OTPs, payment confirmations, and status updates.
Engagement-Based SMS:
Represents SMS sent manually or through automation for marketing and promotional purposes.
Helps in analyzing engagement and effectiveness of outreach campaigns.
The bifurcation basis is the SMS that has been triggered.
The total SMS Sent and against it the status of the SMS, that is number and percentage of SMS that had been.
The Dashlet provides detailed insights into SMS performance by tracking various statuses:
Delivered:
Number and percentage of SMS successfully delivered to the recipient’s server.
Clicked:
Number and percentage of SMS where recipients clicked on short links, attachments, or surveys.
Helps measure engagement and response rates.
DND (Do Not Disturb):
Number and percentage of SMS that were blocked due to the recipient’s DND status.
As per TRAI regulations, promotional SMS can only be sent to non-DND numbers between 9 AM and 9 PM.
You can send non-promotional SMS to both DND and non-DND numbers using the transactional route. (Subjected to T&C)
Absent Subscriber:
Number and percentage of SMS undelivered due to unavailability of the recipient (out of network, switched off, or unreachable).
Invalid Subscriber:
Number and percentage of SMS undelivered due to invalid or incorrect subscriber information.
Message Inbox Full:
Number and percentage of SMS that failed due to the recipient’s inbox being full.
Others:
Number and percentage of SMS that encountered errors due to:
Barring services activated by the recipient.
Network errors or system failures.
Unknown or temporarily unavailable subscriber status.

Delivered: Message successfully accepted by the recipient’s server.
Clicked: Recipient engaged by clicking on embedded links or attachments.
DND: SMS blocked due to DND restrictions as per TRAI guidelines.
Absent Subscriber: Recipient unavailable during the SMS broadcast due to various reasons.
Invalid Subscriber: SMS undelivered due to incorrect subscriber information.
Message Inbox Full: SMS not delivered because the recipient’s inbox was full.
Others: Includes service barring, network errors, and system failures.
To enable the SMS Communication Statistic Dashlet:
Navigate to Admin Dashboard:
Go to Dashboard from the left-hand navigation panel.
Click on Admin Dashboard.
Add Dashlet:
Click on Add Dashlet at the top-right corner.
Select SMS Communication Statistic Dashlet:
Toggle ON (blue color) to enable the SMS Communication Statistic Dashlet.
Save View:
Click Save View to apply your changes.

Date Range Selection:
Select a custom date range to analyze SMS performance over a specific period.
Click Apply to filter data for the selected date range.
Download Data:
Click on the Download icon to export data in CSV format.
