WhatsApp Business Message
Step 1: On the WhatsApp message screen, select WhatsApp Business Radio Button on the top to send a WhatsApp Business Message.
Note: This selection is automatic when you initiate a bulk WhatsApp chat.
Step 2: Fill in the Campaign Name and select a Campaign Type.
Step 3: In the Send To field, the recipient's phone number will be pre-filled.
- For Leads, the recipient will be the different phone numbers available.
- For Applications, you can select from the different phone numbers available in the application form.
- For Opportunities, the recipient will be the Registered Number.
Step 4: Select the appropriate WhatsApp National Sender or WhatsApp International Sender from the dropdown. These numbers are configured from the backend by the operations team, and only the configured numbers will be visible in the dropdown list.
Step 5: You can only use pre-configured templates; custom messages are not supported. The templates must be created on the web under Manage Communication Templates and verified by Meta.
Step 6: In the Action field, you can choose to Schedule the message or Send a test WhatsApp. The Send Now button will behave differently based on your selection:
- If no action is selected, the message will be sent immediately.
- If you select Schedule, the message is placed in a queue and will be sent at the scheduled time.
- If you select Send a test WhatsApp, the message will be sent to the test number you specified.
Step 7: Tap Send Now to complete the process.


Points to Keep in Mind
- To use this feature, you must have the WhatsApp Business permission for single messages and Bulk WhatsApp Business permission to send messages.
- You can only use pre-configured templates; custom messages are not supported. These templates must be created on the web and verified by Meta before they can be used.
- The send time for a WhatsApp Business message can be immediate, scheduled for later, or sent as a test, depending on the action you select.
- Bulk WhatsApp messaging is available for Leads and Applications, but not for Opportunities.
- To check the status of sent WhatsApp messages, you must go to the web version of the platform and view the Communication performance section.
- Templates are pre-configured messages that are created on the web under Manage Communication Templates.
- The configuration of the WhatsApp Business vendor is not available in the app. These features are configured from the web platform under Account Settings also without the configuring WhatsApp Business vendor the option to send WhatsApp Business messages will not be available.
