How to Send SMS via Mobile App?

Multiple Ways to Send SMS
For Leads
- Lead Listing:
- Single SMS: In the Navigation Menu click on Leads, on the Leads page, next to a lead tap the three-dot icon (⋮) and select Send SMS.
- Bulk SMS: In the Navigation Menu click on Leads, on the Leads page tap and hold a lead to enter bulk selection mode. Select the leads you want to message, then tap the three-dot icon (⋮) in the top-right corner and select Send SMS.
- Lead Profile: In the Navigation Menu click on Leads, on the Leads page, click on a Lead Tuple to open a Lead Profile. On the Lead Profile Card tap the SMS button.
For Applications
- Applications Listing:
- Single SMS: In the Navigation Menu click on More and select Applications. On the Application page, next to an Application Tuple tap the three-dot icon (⋮) and select Send SMS.
- Bulk SMS: In the Navigation Menu click on More and select Applications. Tap and hold an application to enter bulk selection mode. Select the applications you want to message, then tap the three-dot icon (⋮) in the top-right corner and select Send SMS.
- Applicant Profile: In the Navigation Menu click on More and select Application. On the Applications page, click on an Application Tuple to open an Applicant Profile. On the Applicant Profile Card tap the SMS button.
Step by Step Instructions
- Step 1: Fill in the Campaign Name and select a Campaign Type. You can choose from existing campaign types or create a new one.
- Step 2: In the Send To field, the recipient's phone number will be pre-filled.
- For Leads, the recipient will be the all mobile type field values.
- For Applications, you can select from the different phone numbers available in the application form.
- Step 3: Select the SMS Channel and the appropriate SMS National Sender or SMS International Sender. These are configured by your operations team.
- Step 4: Select a template. The templates you see here have been created on the web under Manage Communication Templates and will only be visible after they have been verified by TRAI.
- Step 5: You can tap Preview to review the message before sending.
- Step 6: In the Action field, you can choose to Schedule the SMS or Send a test SMS.
- If no action is selected, the SMS will be sent immediately.
- If you select Schedule, the SMS is placed in a queue and will be sent at the scheduled time.
- If you select Send a test SMS, the SMS will be sent to the test number you specified.
- Step 7: Tap Send Now to send SMS.

Points to Keep in Mind
- The configuration of the From Email and From Name is not available in the app. These features are configured from the web platform under Account Settings.
- SMS templates must be created on the web under Manage Communication Templates and be verified by TRAI to be visible in the app.
- The SMS send time depends on your selected action; it can be sent immediately, scheduled for later, or sent as a test.
- To check the status of sent SMS, you must go to the web platform and view the Communication performance section.
- In Mobile Application the SMS feature is available for Leads and Applications, but it is not available for Opportunities.
