The Meritto Report Builder allows you to create and apply custom metrics across all generated reports. This feature helps tailor reports by applying specific conditions and parameters to track and analyze relevant data efficiently.

Core Functionalities

Creating Custom Metrics

Custom metrics allow you to define and apply personalized criteria for better data analysis.

Steps to Create Custom Metrics:


  1. Open Report Builder:

    • Navigate to the Reports section.

    • Click on Report Builder to initiate the process.

  2. Open Metrics Pop-up:

    • Click on the Create button available in the Metrics Listing Pop-up.

  3. Define Custom Metric:

    • A slider will open, allowing you to create the custom metric.

    • Add a custom name for your metric.

  4. Set Conditions:

    • Choose the desired parameter, operator, and value for your metric.

    • You can apply up to 5 conditions to define your metric.

  5. Save the Metric:

    • Click Save to finalize the custom metric.

    • Once saved, the created custom metrics will appear in the Metric Listing Pop-up and can be used across all the current and future reports. You can view the custom metrics from the metric listing pop-up.

Using Custom Metrics in Reports

Once the custom metrics are created, they can be applied to any report to generate relevant data insights.

Steps to Use Custom Metrics:

  1. Open Metric Listing:

    • Click on the Add button in the Metric Pop-up.

    • A list of all created metrics will appear.

  2. Select Required Metrics:

    • Check the box next to the required metric(s).

    • Choose the parameter format — either Count or Percentage.

  3. Apply Metrics to Report:

    • Click Apply to insert the selected metrics into the report.

  4. Rearrange Metrics (Optional):

    • Drag and drop the metric columns to rearrange their order.

    • Click on Save to preserve the new sequence.

  5. Add Rows to View Report:

    • Insert the required rows to finalize and view the full report.

  6. Remove Unwanted Metrics:

    • If any unnecessary metric is added, click on the Cross button beside the metric name to remove it.
